The local NGO hosted Parliamentarians, Government officials, EMA and women farmers from various provinces with a view to sensitize the policy-makers on gender and climate change as well as to explore priority actions for gender-responsive climate change policy-making. Women took turns to highlight issues such as land degradation, artisanal mining, deforestation, water shortages, uncontrolled fires and other vulnerabilities being experienced at grassroot level.
