The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) is set to host its annual congress from June 26-28, 2024, at the prestigious Elephant Hills Resort in Victoria Falls. This year’s congress will convene under the theme, “Unlocking New Frontiers for Sustainable Industrialization and Climate Smart Business Growth.”
The congress promises to be a pivotal event, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and experts to explore critical issues essential for Zimbabwe’s economic future. Discussions will focus on industrializing Zimbabwe and the region, with a strong emphasis on climate and artificial intelligence (AI) adaptation.
Other key topics include the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA), a review of the structured currency framework with perspectives and recommendations, and new perspectives on informality, particularly within the Zimbabwean context.
ZNCC representatives highlighted the congress’s significance, saying “The congress is expected to discuss issues on Industrializing Zimbabwe and the Region anchoring climate and Artificial intelligence (AI) Adaptation and the (The African Continental Free Trade Area AFCFTA, Review of the Structured Currency framework: Perspectives and Recommendations and New Perspectives on Informality: A focus on the Zimbabwean context.”
